# Pay

> Your year-to-date summary, monthly payslips with a full breakdown, and your tax documents.

The **Pay** tab is your own payslips. Nobody else's pay is visible here, whatever your role.

## Year to date

A summary across the current financial year: total earnings, total deductions, and net paid so far.

## The payslip list

One row per month, showing the net amount and the payment status.

| Status       | Meaning       |
| ------------ | ------------- |
| `Paid`       | Disbursed.    |
| `Processing` | In progress.  |
| `Pending`    | Not yet paid. |

<Note>
  **A month appears here only after payroll disburses it.** Until then, the numbers exist only inside the payroll cycle and are not visible to you. If a month is missing, the cycle has not been disbursed yet.
</Note>

## Payslip detail

Opening a month gives the full breakdown:

    The headline figure, the date it was credited, and the bank account it went to (masked).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Earnings" icon="trending-up">
    Line by line — basic, house rent allowance, special allowance, conveyance, overtime — and the gross they sum to.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Deductions" icon="trending-down">
    Provident Fund, Employees' State Insurance, Professional Tax, income tax, and the total.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Attendance" icon="calendar">
    What drove the numbers: paid days, loss-of-pay days, and overtime hours.

    This is the section to read first if a payslip looks wrong. Pay is derived from attendance, so a surprising net almost always traces back to a day that reconciled differently from what you expected.

## Tax documents

Form 16 and other tax paperwork appear here once your organization has generated, signed and distributed them. They come from your document vault, and downloading uses a short-lived link.

<Note>
  Form 16 is an annual document produced after the financial year ends, and it needs your employer to complete a multi-step process. Its absence in, say, June does not mean anything is wrong.
</Note>

## If a payslip is wrong

Raise it with whoever runs payroll. Payslips cannot be edited after disbursement — a correction is made as an adjustment in a following month's cycle, with a note recording what it corrects.

If the cause is an attendance day that reconciled wrongly, file a [regularization](/help/attendance/regularization) for that day as well, so the underlying record is fixed and the problem does not recur.
