Punch in
The Today tab opens on a big status card — checked in or checked out — and a punch button.Depending on how your organization is configured, punching may ask for:
- A selfie. The app opens your camera and captures a single frame. This is what stops somebody else clocking in for you.
- Your location. The app checks your position against your work location’s geofence and shows you the result before you confirm.
2
Check that today looks right
Still on Today: your punch trail for the day, hours worked so far, break time, and this week’s totals. If something is missing — you forgot to punch out yesterday, or a terminal didn’t register you — that is what a regularization is for.Open History, find the day, and use Request regularization. Say what actually happened and what the record should say. It goes to your manager.
3
Apply for leave
The Leave tab shows your balance for each leave type. Tap Apply, pick the type and the dates, and choose whether each day is a full day or a half. Before you submit, OnTime shows you a quote: how many working days the request actually consumes (weekly offs and holidays in the range do not count) and what your balance will be afterwards. You can name a backup contact for while you are away.Submitting sends it to your manager. Some leave types also need HR to sign off after your manager does — the request shows you which stage it is at.
4
Read your pay
The Pay tab lists your payslips by month with the net amount, plus a year-to-date summary. Open one for the full breakdown: earnings, deductions, and the attendance that drove it — paid days, loss-of-pay days, overtime hours.Tax documents such as Form 16 appear here too, once your organization has generated and distributed them.
5
Look after your account
The Me tab holds your profile, the devices enrolled to you, and your active sessions. If you have signed in somewhere you no longer have — an old phone — sign that session out from here.
